OOC - Sorry for the format way the whole thing looks, ‘cause it looks a little weird. It just copied and pasted that way and I can’t fix it. Also, this is a little bit of a flashback to before the RP is at right now, just to establish how Tara and Anya come to be in L.A. I’ve cleared it with Savannah, the Anya RPer.
The first thought that broke the stream of thoughts of Willow
was the fact that she needed to leave. Sunnydale was in ruins
and she just wanted to get out of there. She then realised that
she was just standing there in the clothes she had died in (the
blood somehow no longer there), and she had no clue where to go.
She decided that she would leave Sunnydale, find the nearest
clothing shop, get some new clothes and then see if someone would
give her a lift somewhere. She was just about to do this when
she saw iomeone up ahead, walking quickly, as if they wanted to
leave as well. Tara frowned. There was something familiar about
this stranger that she couldn’t place. “Who is this? Where have
I seen them bef…have I seen them before at all”…” Her questions
were answered as the person turned their head for a moment,
looking back at what had once been Sunnydale. Tara ducked behind
a ruined building, fearful that they’d seen her, and peeked
around the corner to see who it was. Her eyes widened in shock
and a small gasp escaped her lips before she could stop it.
The person was Spike, the vampire who had loved and been in a
relationship with Buffy, the slayer for this area and the center
of the Scooby Gang, for a long time before and after Tara’s
death. Tara thought back to when Buffy had unintentionally let
it slip to Tara that her and Spike had been sleeping together and
Tara had promised her that she wouldn’t tell anyone. Spike
turned away and kept walking. Tara followed him at a distance,
curious to know where he would lead her.
They walked for a long time, Tara keeping to the shadows and
staying as far back as she could without loosing sight of him,
until finally, they were far enough away that they wouldn’t be
recognised. They came into a big city area with shops and caffes
lining both sides of the streets. Spike seemed to have the same
need for new cloths as Tara and ducked into the nearest mens’
clothes shop. Tara scanned the street and quickly found a
womens’ clothes shop that looked perfect. The clothes looked
like what she would wear and as she examined some of the
different items, she discovered that they were quite cheap. She
was about to take a few items and try them on, but then she
realised that she didn’t have any money with her. She obviously
hadn’t brought a wallet with her as she hadn’t had time to get
one before she’d been shot. She sighed and exited the shop.
She’d just have to make do with what she had. But then, she saw
a sign in the window a couple of shops down: WOMENS’ CLOTHING
CLEARANCE SALE! ALL ITEMS FREE! This was perfect!
She smiled to herself as she walked past the first shop. As she passed the shop before her destination, she glimpsed Spike standing with his back to her,
picking out items to buy. She turned, and then spun back to face
straight ahead again. Spike was standing in that shop completely
naked. Not a sight Tara needed to see. Any other girl would
probably stop and stare for ages but Tara, being who she was,
just didn’t find it as fascinating as other girls did. She
reached her destination, took her pick of an outfit and left. It
was so easy, taking the clothes without having to buy them…far
too easy. It’s not every day you see a shop that pretty much
lets you take whatever you want without paying.
Tara only had to wait a minute or two before Spike appeared, wearing his new
clothes…thank goodness, and kept walking. Tara followed, at a
distance as always, keeping out of his sight but keeping him
within hers. She was still curious about where he would go and
she had nothing better to do. A woman appeared, a woman that she vaguely recognized as Drusilla, from the other
side of the road and he crossed to talk to her. The street was
quiet, so Tara stopped and sat down by a tree on the side of the
road to wait for him to keep going. They talked annimatedly for
a while as Tara watched. She couldn’t hear what they were
saying. Suddenly, Spike raised his voice just enough for Tara to hear
him for a moment before his voice was drowned out by a car driving past them. He said something about LA, Buffy and everyone being in LA. He left the girl and kept walking, Tara following again. Buffy was in L.A. with the gang? Tara now knew where she was headed.
He walked. She followed. It was like this for quite some time before Tara saw someone else standing up ahaid but a little off to the right, slightly down an alleyway. As she
got closer, the figure came more into focus. This person also
looked familiar — What was with all the familiar figures
wondering around the streets where Tara walked. It was kind of
strange…b Tara was used to strangeness, being part of the
scooby gang and a friend of the vampire slayer of Sunnydale of
all places. Just as Spike had done, the figure turned a little,
scanning the street, and as they did so, Tara was able to see who
it was.
Just like earlier, her eyes widened in shock and she ran
toward them, following, Spike forgotten. “Anya!?”
